Before co-founding Hamilton, DeSanctis & Cha, LLP, Don was a partner in the intellectual property practice group of Faegre & Benson LLP.  Don is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  His patent prosecution experience includes foreign (including PCT) and U.S. patent prosecution in diverse technology areas, such as biotechnology (including molecular biology, immunoassays, clinical and diagnostic assays, genetics, etc.), pharmaceutical, chemical (e.g., small molecules), material science, polymers, chemical processes, medical devices, biochemistry, biophysics and mechanical arts.  Don’s legal experience also includes licensing, due diligence analysis for mergers and acquisitions, freedom to operate analysis, non-infringement opinions, transactions and litigation support.
